ANXIETY ATTACKS– How do I deal with this? Coping skills? Also, are these problems related to my anxiety?

Lately, along with ‘panic attacks’, I’ve been shaking fequently, and I’m often dizzy and pass out occasionally. Is this related?
Also, how do I cope with anxiety? What do I do when it happens?
Thanks to anyone who helps me.

  1. i know wat u mean..i suffer ffrom that..yes the shaking and passing out and dizziness is part of the panic attacks…i just recently learned a way 2 control the panic attacks from my school councelor…if you think of a time wen u were really happy…no matter wat it is…just dat u were happy..picture it in ur head n begin 2 inhale deeply…not 2 deep dat u get dizzy…but deep enuff…take several deep breaths n in a matter of minutes you should feel better….that help wit stress too….try it n let me kno if it worked for you…..

  2. ive suffered from anxiety and i have gone to a psychiatrist.
you can take medicine to calm you down: i took this for a bout a month. you can still worry.but it doesn’t let you go over the edge of a full blown attack.
also there was a neat study. people with high blood pressure could imagine a gage and imagine it going down slowly and it would actually bring down their blood pressure. My dr said that this could work for anxiety and this is what i use. you just picture the “thermometor” and determine the level of anxiety it is. if it is say a 7 then you just imagine it slowly going down.
your symptoms could have something to do with it but i would get them checked because this might interfere with your day to day actions.

  3. simple get over worrying or fear. Anxiety and panic attacks are a psychological illness, not a medical illness. So the sooner you confront your fear or worry the sooner you will be cured.

  4. Panic attacks usually happen during a frightening or stressful event. To keep stress under control, you should treat yourself well in mind and body; don’t try to be perfect in every task and stay in shape. Get a good night’s sleep and try and plan out your day as so you don’t end up panicking over something you forgot. But when it does happen just relax, take a few deep breaths, and think over what is happening that is causing the attack. Try to think what can help you to work around the cause. Afterwords, congratulate yourself on controlling the situation. If this is a constant problem in your life, I recommend that you seek help from a therapist.

  5. Environment And Social Factors Environment factors can relate to body disfigurement, neglect or abuse by moms and pops or being brought up by paranoid care takers. You might need to build his confidence.
