I’m considering about taking a session or two of hipnosis to help me get through my public speaking class that is required.
It’s kind of pricey and I was wondering if it can or will work? It’s well worth the price if it does work though.
Has any one ever experienced this type of thing? Did it work for you?
Whether hypnosis works or not depends entirely on the patient. However, for something as simple as public speaking fear, you probably don’t need it. Public speaking is one of those things that you can get over with enough practice. A hypnotist doesn’t make it go away, they just make you think you can do it. They’re simply using the power of suggestion. Which means if they can make you do something, you can make yourself do it as well.
I’ve never had hypnosis. But it supposedly works for arachnophobia.
It is supposed to work by, having your brain acces parts of your subconcious; which you can’t do while your awake. You are still in control of your actions but you are kind of in between sleep and wakefulness. I dont know if it can cure you but it may be able to get down to why you have a problem with public speaking?
If you decide to do it, let me know how it goes.
